New student body officers are elected

A slate of new student officers for the 2010-2011 school year for Golden West College have been elected.
As a result of balloting April 20-22 at GWC, the new leaders of the Associated Students of GWC are:

• President: David Salai, running unopposed;
• Vice president: Paul Chalfant, defeating Freed Iguardia;
• Club consultant: Monica Dekany, running unopposed;
• Student advocate:  Morgan Mymon, running unopposed;
• Public relations officer: Ronald Cabilites, defeating Linh Vu and Tina Do;
• Activities commissioner: Christy Nguyen, running unopposed;
• Finance commissioner: Michael Knotts.
