“The Losers.” From something you do not want to be called when you’re a kid, or an adult, to a name of a new hit movie.
This hour and thirty-eight minute escape from reality was just that. A movie for guys that like movies, and something even any adventurous female would also get some enjoyment out of.
Action mixed with some tasteful light heartedness, a few sad moments, a sprinkling of sexy, and a couple of plot twists. Does it get much better than that?
Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played the character Clay in this comic book story of an elite military unit that is undermined by the evil villain only known as Max. Zoe Saldana co starred and played Aisha, a sexy well-trained ally who helps the team get back on their feet.
Sylvain White directed this action thriller and in my book did a great job. The characters all had strong personalities that White was able to capture beautifully. The fight scenes were realistic and very entertaining cool as the audience was kept on the edge of their seats throughout much of this movie.
For those of you old enough, or those that like to watch old sitcoms, this movie had a lot of the flavor from the old “A-Team” series. I enjoyed it then, and I enjoy it now. So for all you moviegoers out there that enjoy a good no nonsense action movie that will let you root for the good guys, this is a movie for you.
